Downtown Rain is a 60" x 48" squeegee oil painting. This painting came with a multiple of challenges. First, finding a squeegee large enough to smear oil paint up and down this rather large canvas. Next, finding a medium which, when mixed with oil paint, formed the just-right viscosity and also dried quickly. Another challenge lies in the fact that squeegee painting allows you to smear any color anywhere, in any quantity, at any time. That's a lot of freedom! Making choices
